The Campaign Partnership Strategy
The success of the Global Campaign on Urban Governance will in large
part be determined by its ability to mobilize strategic partners behind
the common banner of good urban governance. The Campaign's partnership
strategy operates at four levels:
-
Local Level: The campaign supports cities and their stakeholders
to achieve their development goals through improved urban governance.
For more details, please see the individual national campaign home pages.
-
National Level: The campaign supports national governments and national
associations of local authorities and their partners through the development
of national campaigns, the sharing of lessons, best practices, enabling
policies and tools. For more details, please see the individual national
campaign home pages.
-
Regional Level: Regional steering groups are responsible for adapting
the campaign’s global objectives to regional priorities and contexts and
for stimulating national and local action. For more details, please see
the regional campaign pages: Africa;
Asia
and the Pacific; Latin America
and the Caribbean.
-
Global Level: Representatives of major partner groups form a Gobal
Campaign Steering Group responsible for providing overall leadership and
strategic guidance to the campaign. For a list of contact addresses
