Datahouse
DATAHOUSE is a stand-alone, easy-to-operate, PC-software and database
with comprehensive city and national (urban/rural) statistics on human
settlements. The database contains data from population and housing censuses
of the most recent "1990 Round of Population and Housing Censuses", collected
through the Human Settlements Statistics Questionnaire 1992 (HSSQ/92),
launched by United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD).
More specifically, data on the following topics are available:

Population by sex, number of households and number of living quarters by
type.

Occupied housing units by number of rooms, number of households, and tentureship
in housing units

Population by sex and duration of residence
-
Number of occupied housing units by housing facilities
-
Number of dwellings and rooms constructed
-
Reported crimes and sentenced perpetrators of criminal offences
-
Population by sex and age groups
-
Economically active population by sex and industry
-
Population by sex, aged 5-24 years, attending and not attending school
-
Statistics on infrastructure and services
-
Land use in urban areas of the country
Requirements: DATAHOUSE runs under DOS on an IBM-compatible 386
PC with at least 4MB of RAM and 5MB of free hard disk space (SVGA-monitor
and mouse are recommended).
