The Cape Metropolitan Council (CMC), the United Nations Environment
Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (Habitat)
are pleased to announce that the Global Meeting of the Urban Environment
Forum for the year 2000 (UEF 2000) will take place in Cape Town, 26 - 28
September 2000. The Urban Environment Forum is a global network joining
cities and international support programmes in their common commitment
to improve social and economic conditions in cities through more responsive
urban environmental planning and management (EPM) approaches. Some 250
participants from around 100 cities and 40 international support programmes
will attend the meeting. |
