A common focus of many innovative and effective ideas and approaches being worked out today is a central concern with the actual process of urban environemental planning and management. Experiences in cities and towns from countries all over the globe - despite their vast differencesa in physical, economic, social aand political situations - increasingly converge on this same viewpoint, this same framework for action.

It is intended that this selection be an interactive component of the UEF web-site, where all cities and/or their support programmes, can submit a study of their own municipality.
