Dritan Shutina

Executive Director, Co-PLAN, Institute for Housing Development, Tirana, Albania

Dritan Shutina has been with Co-PLAN since 1997. He was the Deputy Director of the organisation between 2002 and 2005 and has subsequently held the position of Executive Director. He comes from a Public Administration and Urban Planning background, both by education and experience. His areas of work have been strategy formulation, participatory planning, infrastructure development and community based urban upgrading programs. Training and expertise on action and strategic planning and municipal finance are his strengths.

Mr. Shutina has extensive research experience in social and economic aspects of both rural and urban development interventions. He has been a co-organiser of many civil-society oriented workshops with emphasis on urban realities.
