Mary Balikungeri
Director, Women’s Network for Economic Justice
Mary Balikungeri is the director and founder of the Women’s Network for Economic Justice in Rwanda. Balikungeri is also in charge of the Hope Clinic, a project to provide healthcare and family support to the survivors of rape and gender violence. It is now one of the pillars of the NGO. In addition to social support and healthcare, the clinic provides legal assessment and socio-economic assistance to survivals, as well as long-term educational programs. |
