gg CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP PROSPECTUS

We are grateful to the Government of Canada for hosting the third session of the World Urban Forum and for the substantial financial and organizational support that they have invested in ensuring a successful WUFIII. The Government of Canada has also established a WUF Canada team to support UN-HABITAT’s organization of the Forum. The team is headed by Charles Kelly as Commissioner General; Michael Pearson, Deputy Commissioner General; Phil Heard, Chief Operating Officer; Freddie Franklin, Exhibition; Trish Maisonville, Logistics; and Nancy Wright, Conference and Communications.

We extend our thanks again to the City of Barcelona, the Government of Spain and all those who made special contributions to second World Urban Forum. The support we received from Austria, Canada, China, Italy, Norway, Rwanda, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom enabled many partners from Least Developed Countries to participate in the Barcelona meeting and to highlight the issues affecting their countries in a global forum.

We appeal again for your support so that we can further increase participation in the coming Forum, now the most widely recognised gathering on urban issues. If you wish to make a contribution, please send an email to wuf@unhabitat.org. Your contribution will help to ensure balanced representation from all over the world.

For corporate sponsorship and support kindly download the “Corporate Sponsorship Prospectus” where you will find about sponsorship packages describing valuable range of entitlements commensurate with the nature and level of your investment.
